Who doesn’t like free stuff? If you’re an ISP, there is no more proven way to win friends among Internet subscribers than by giving out service perks free of charge. Recently, one of PerfTech’s regional ISP customers did just that, delivering the good news using in-browser messages.
The ISP announced subscriber appreciation upgrades that included both speeds and data: speeds both up and down increased times 2.5, and the data package limit was doubled. The in-browser announcement required no response, but these 3 actionable buttons were included: 1) close, 2) Ok thanks, and 3) Have I been upgraded? Because the upgrade migration was taking place during a few weeks, the latter button was included to provide a link showing where the upgrades had already been deployed. Results were as follows:
